ROSE SAUCE PASTA

Rose sauce pasta is a delightful fusion of rich tomato flavors and creamy goodness, creating a perfectly balanced dish that’s both comforting and elegant. INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons of cooking oil

1 small onion cut into very small pieces

1 medium clove of garlic finely chopped

2 medium tomatoes pureed

½ teaspoon of dried oregano

½ cup of heavy cream

1 cup of penne pasta (measured in a 250 ml cup)

½ teaspoon or the required amount of pepper powder

Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions adding the required amount of salt. Drain and keep.
  2. Heat oil in a wok over a medium temperature add the onion pieces and sauté until soft.
  3. Add the garlic pieces and sauté until the raw smell of the garlic is completely gone.
  4. Add the tomato puree and sauté for a few minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and stir and mix.
  6. Add the cream and mix.
  7. Add the oregano and the pepper powder and mix well.
  8. Add salt if needed.
  9. Stir and cook in low heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until the sauce thickness to the desired consistency.
  10. Switch off and serve.
