Quail pepper Roast Recipe

 A quail is a small bird, like a little chick. Although it has a small body, there are many health benefits of eating quail meat. Quail meat has protein, phosphor, fat, calcium, iron and zinc. It also contains Vitamins B, D, A and K. Quail meat is good for skin, it increases the immune system, strengthen bones and it solves Anemia.

Ingredients

Quail    –  3.

Whole black pepper  – 1 Tablespoon.

Ginger                         –  A small piece.

Garlic                          –  3 to 4 cloves.

Turmeric powder      – 1/4 teaspoon.

RedChili powder       – 1 Teaspoon.

Lemon juice              – 1 Teaspoon.

Oil                               –  3 to 4 Tablespoons.

Salt                            – As per the taste.

Method

Clean the quail and cut them into pieces.

Crush the ginger and garlic into a coarse paste and keep aside.

Grind the pepper into a coarse powder.

Make a paste using the prepared black pepper powder, ginger and garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, salt and little water.

Marinate the quails with this paste and keep it for half an hour.

In a pan pour 3 to 4 tablespoons of oil.

when the oil is hot reduce the flame to low and put the marinated quail pieces in it and cook.

 

Turn the sides now and then so that both the sides of the quail pieces are cooked evenly.

Cook in low flame for 20 to 25 minutes or until it is soft.

Its ready to serve
