This is a vibrant juice, that is rich in nutrients and it is very tasty as well. Pineapples are available year-round, so you can make this juice any time you want.

Pineapples are low in calories but loaded with nutrients and antioxidants. It alleviates common cold, improves immunity and has many other health benefits.

I am still enjoying my holidays at my mother’s place. One day, while my mother and I were chatting in the kitchen, I heard some announcements from a passing-by vehicle. I was curious to find out what it was and saw some people selling fresh pineapples out of the back of a truck. Those pineapples were so fresh I couldn’t resist buying a few.

During my childhood days, there were pineapple bushes planted as fences. They act as natural compound walls, and we can pluck fresh pineapples now and then. Nowadays, I am not seeing any pineapple fences at our place, mostly we are getting fruits from the market.

From one of the pineapples that I bought, I made this juice. I just peeled the pineapple, cut it into small pieces, added some fresh ginger pieces, sugar and water, and blended it until smooth.

I strained the juice, discarded the pulp, and served the juice. The sweetness of the pineapple blended with ginger gives a unique taste to the juice. I like to have this juice just as it is, but if you like you can refrigerate it for some time or add ice to it and then serve
