You can make these tasty and simple pancakes with in few minutes and start your day feeling healthy and energetic.
Pancakes are one of my favorite breakfast food, my family’s too. Especially whenever I wake up late I make pancakes for breakfast. Oat flour pancakes are healthy and satisfying alternatives for white flour ones.
You can buy oat flour in supermarkets, but if you do not have some on hand you can easily prepare your own. Simply add some rolled oats in a blender or a food processor and process until you get a fine flour. ( If you powder 1 cup + a little more rolled oats you will get 1 cup of oat flour)
In this recipe I have prepared a smooth batter using oat flour, wheat flour, baking powder, milk, egg and a little bit of sugar. I have added 2 tablespoons of sugar, if you want you can add a bit more or less. I have also added a teaspoon of vanilla extract for the aroma and flavor.
Then I cooked the pancakes on low temperature until golden brown on both sides, so that they are cooked well and are flavorful.
You can serve these pancakes with maple syrup or whipped cream and some fresh fruits on the side.
