It’s Christmas season! and it’s holiday time. There are a lot of things I enjoy about Christmas, the cold weather, baking cakes & cookies and decorating the house and the Christmas tree. It is always fun to do Christmas crafts, making greeting cards and more too. But making Christmas treats ranks as one of the highest on my list of the best things about the season.
Christmas is a fun time for Children because they have holidays around that time. Holiday activities and crafts will keep them entertained and busy. Christmas treats make children excited. They will be super excited if they make treats by themselves. You can get the kids in the kitchen with some easy festive treats that you and your kids can make together and have some memorable time together. Mellow – Men is one such treat.
They are super easy to make and with very few ingredients. Kids can easily do it with a little help from you.It will be a fun time for them.
It is party season as well. You can serve this colorful treat as a kids party starter also.
PREPARATION TIME -5MINUTES.
MAKING TIME -20 MINUTES
MAKES 5 MELLOW -MEN
INGREDIENTS
Large white marshmallows -10.
Milk chocolate – A small bar.
Sour belts – 5 Long pieces that is enough to wrap around the marshmallow.
Sprinkles -A few
Buttercream frosting – 100 Gram.
Bamboo skewers – 5
METHOD:
Join two marshmallow pieces using a bamboo skewer.
Fill butter cream frosting in a piping bag. Squeeze a thin circle of frosting around the marshmallow where two marshmallows are joined.
Stick the sour belt on the frosting around the marshmallow so that it look like the scarf of the mellow men.
Melt the chocolate pieces in a microwave oven and dip a toothpick into the melted chocolate and draw the eyes of the mellow-men .
Make a small slit with the help of a toothpick and insert a sprinkle into it and make his nose.
Colourful Mellow-Men are ready.

Note:I have used a multi-coloured sour belt but you can use your favourite colour sour belt.
