This is a simple and easy cutlet that can be served as an evening snack or can be sent to your kids in their lunch box. The name sounds different right, There is a reason behind this name. I have added a lot of green peas in this cutlet and that is why it is called a green cutlet. This is a green peas cutlet with little chicken in it.


Suppose any of your family members do not like green peas. This is a great way to feed them green peas secretly, especially kids, because green peas have many health benefits.Some kids don’t like vegetables that much so mothers can secretly feed them vegetables in this way. Very little chicken is added in this recipe, with a large amount of green peas.


I have added fresh green peas in this recipe you can use any green peas of your choice(frozen or dried). If you are using dried green peas soak the green peas in water for three to four hours and then cook them.This tasty snack can be served with tomato sauce or chutney.

GREEN CUTLET RECIPE:

INGREDIENTS:
CHICKEN BREAST – 1 BOILED AND SHREDDED.
GREEN PEAS – 1 CUP COOKED AND GROUND.
POTATO – BOILED AND MASHED.
TURMERIC POWDER – 1/2 TEASPOON.
GINGER POWDER – 1/2 TEASPOON.
GARLIC POWDER – 1/2 TEASPOON.
GARAM MASALA POWDER – 1 TABLESPOON.
SALT – TO TASTE.
OIL – TO FRY.

METHOD:

1.Heat two or three tablespoons of oil a thick bottomed pan and add in the mashed potato,cooked and ground green peas and shredded chicken and sauté for two minutes.
2.Add in turmeric powder,ginger powder,garlic powder and garam
masala into it and mix it well.Add in the required amount of salt and mix well. Sauté the above mixture until the moisture in the mixture is completely dried.
3.Switch off the stove and let it cool.
4.Make small patties , dip the patties one by one in egg white and then dust them in bread crumbs one by one and keep it aside.
5.Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan put the patties into the oil and fry
them.When one side is cooked well turn the side and let it cook well.
6. Make sure the the stove is in medium hot.
7. When both the sides are cooked remove the patties from the pan and serve it hot with with your favorite sauce.

Note:I have used ginger garlic powder in this recipe.You can also use ginger garlic paste.

Sauté the mixture until the moisture in the mixture is completely dried.
Make patties.
Dip in egg white.

Dust in bread crumbs.
Tasty and healthy green cutlet.
Fry one side of the patties .
Turn the side and fry them.
Ready to serve.
