CRISPY AND TASTY  FISH FRY  RECIPE

IF YOU SERVE CRISPY AND TASTY FISH FRY ON YOUR TABLE,I AM SURE THAT ,THE PLATE WILL BE EMPTY WITHIN MINUTES.CRISPY AND TASTY FISH FRIES ARE FAVORITE FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE.I HOPE NOBODY CAN HATE DELICIOUS AND CRISPY FISH FRIES.

I KNOW MANY PEOPLE WHO LOVE FISH, MORE THAN ANY OTHER NON-VEGETARIAN FOOD ITEMS.SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO HAVE FISH IN THEIR DAILY MENU. AND FISH IS A GOOD SOURCE OF PROTEIN FOR NON VEGETARIANS.WE CAN COOK FISH IN MANY WAYS.WE CAN MAKE CURRY,STEW,FRY,GRILL,ETC.IT TASTES GOOD IN ANY WAY.

IN THIS RECIPE , I HAVE FRIED THE FISH WITH LESS OIL AND A HAND FULL OF INGREDIENTS.IT IS CRISPY FROM OUTSIDE AND SOFT INSIDE AND TASTE DELICIOUS.THIS IS A SIMPLE AND EASY RECIPE SO THAT YOU CAN MAKE IT WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY.

IT CAN BE SERVED AS AN APPETIZER, OR YOU CAN SERVE IT WITH ANY RICE VARIETIES.THIS MOUTH WATERING FRY WILL BE A PERFECT SIDE DISH FOR MANY RICE VARIETIES EXCEPT FOR THE CURD RICE.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO FRY THE FISH YOU CAN GRILL IT.YOU CAN MARINATE THE FISH WITH THIS MARINADE GIVEN IN THIS RECIPE AND GRILL IT .THIS FISH FRY IS SUPER SPICY,BUT IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR FISH FRY TOO SPICY, YOU CAN REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF RED CHILI.

VARIATIONS:

WHEN YOU PREPARE THE MARINADE ,YOU CAN ADD 1/2 TEASPOON OF GINGER PASTE, 1/2 TEASPOON OF GARLIC PASTE AND ONE TABLESPOON OF LEMON JUICE TO IT. OR ADD ONLY GINGER AND GARLIC PASTE TO THE MARINADE AND SQUEEZE THE LEMON ON THE FISH WHEN YOU SERVE THE FISH.

CAN USE ONE TEASPOON OF BLACK PEPPER POWDER ALSO.IF YOU ARE USING PEPPER POWDER REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF RED CHILI POWDER TO 2 TABLESPOON.

IF YOU LIKE THE FISH FRY IN BRIGHT RED COLOR, BUT LESS SPICY YOU CAN REDUCE ONE TABLESPOON OF REDCHILI POWDER, AND ADD ONE TABLESPOON OF KASHMIRI REDCHILI POWDER TO THE MARINADE .

NOTE:

YOU CAN MARINATE THE FISH AND KEEP IT OVERNIGHT IN YOUR FRIDGE.WHEN YOU DO SO, ADD LITTLE SALT TO THE MARINADE.YOU CAN ADD MORE SALT BEFORE FRYING THE FISH, IF YOU NEED .

WHEN YOU PREPARE THE MARINADE ,IF YOU FEEL THE MARINADE IS TOO THICK YOU CAN ADD LITTLE WATER.BE CAREFUL WHILE ADDING WATER .IF YOU ADD MORE WATER THE MARINADE WILL BECOME WATERY AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MARINATE .

I HAVE USED KING FISH IN THIS RECIPE .BUT YOU CAN USE OTHER FISH VARIETIES LIKE SHERI,SADEEN,RED SNAPPER,MACKEREL,ANCHOVIES MULLAN FISH ETC .

FISH FRY RECIPE:

COOKING TIME : 15 MINUTES.

SERVES           :  CAN BE SERVED TO 5 PEOPLE .

INGREDIENTS:

KING FISH  – 10 PIECES CUT INTO THIN SLICES.

REDCHILI POWDER – 3 TABLESPOONS.

TURMERIC POWDER – 1 TEASPOON.

LEMON JUICE  – 1 TABLESPOON.

SALT – AS PER THE TASTE.

OIL – 4 TO 5 TABLESPOONS.

METHOD:

1.WASH AND CLEAN THE FISH THOROUGHLY.

2.PREPARE A MARINADE USING, RED CHILI POWDER , TURMERIC POWDER, SALT AND THREE  TABLESPOONS OF WATER.

3.MARINATE THE FISH IN THIS MARINADE FOR 15 TO 30 MINUTES.

4.HEAT 3 TO 4 TABLESPOONS OF OIL IN A PAN AND ADD THE FISH PIECES INTO THE PAN.

5.FRY THEM IN MEDIUM HEAT.

6.WHEN ONE SIDE IS COOKED TURN THE FISH PIECES AND COOK THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FISH.

7.SWITCH OFF THE STOVE WHEN BOTH THE SIDES OF THE FISH PIECES ARE COOKED .

8. SQUEEZE LEMON JUICE ON IT AND SERVE IT HOT.

STEP BY STEP PICTURES:

CLEAN THE FISH.
PREPARE THE MARINADE USING RED-CHILI POWDER ,TURMERIC POWDER, SALT AND WATER.
MARINATE THE FISH
FRY IT IN ONE SIDE.
FRY THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FISH.
READY TO SERVE.
