They are super easy to prepare. All you have to do is just allow them to rise two times and bake into pull-apart rolls.
You don’t have to knead it. The rolls are soft and fluffy when they are out from the oven. This dough can be easily made with the help of a spatula. There is no need for any type of equipment.
You can enjoy these soft and fluffy rolls not only for dinner but you can have them at any time of the day. They can be paired up with your favorite soups, salads, chicken fry, roast and more. You can even serve these rolls with a slab of butter or just slather some jam and serve.
EASY DINNER ROLLS RECIPE
PREPARATION TIME : 15 + 10 MUNUTES
TIME FOR THE DOUGH TO RISE : 45 + 30 MINUTES
BAKING TIME : 23 TO 25 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS
All the ingredients are measured in a 250 ml cup
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup of full fat milk at room temperature
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons of butter (melted and cooled down to room temperature)
- 1/4 cup of warm water
- 1 and 1/4 teaspoon of active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon or required amount of salt
- 1 egg at room temperature
METHOD
- To activate the yeast dissolve 1 tablespoon of sugar in the warm water, add the yeast to it, mix well and let it stand for 15 minutes until bubbly.
- In a mixing bowl, add the flour, salt and remaining sugar and mix them with a whisk until well combined.
- Beat the egg in a bowl, add the butter and the milk into it and mix well.
- Make a well in the center of the flour and add the yeast and egg mixtures into it. Mix well using a spatula, until the all the ingredients are well blended without any lumps.
- Wrap it with plastic wrap and keep it on a warm place for 45 to 50 minutes, for the dough to rise and doubled the size.
- When the batter has doubled, beat it down.
- Grease a baking pan with a little bit of butter.
- Scoop the dough into the buttered pan using a spoon.
- Brush it with butter.
- Cover it again and keep it in a warm place for another half an hour for the dough to raise.
- Pre heat the oven to 200°C and bake for 23 to 25 minutes.
NOTE
To activate the yeast, make sure the water is warm and not too hot.
These rolls stay fresh up to three days in room temperature, if kept in an air tight container.
