A chicken fry that looks bright red but less hot will be everyone’s favorite, especially for kids. I tried a fry like that using paprika and it came perfect. I have added some paprika powder to the chicken and fried it . It looked beautiful less hot and delicious.
Because it is less hot kids like it. Not only kids, grownups also like it equally. I have cut the chicken as thin long pieces so that it is easy to cook the chicken with less oil and also in less time. You can cut the chicken into cubes also but it will consume more oil.
I prepared this chicken paprika fry to my family and the plate was empty within minutes and I got an appreciation for my dish. Grown-ups can have this fry guilt-free because it is fried with less oil.
CHICKEN PAPRIKA FRY RECIPE:
PREPARATION TIME : 10 MINUTES.
COOKING TIME : 15 MINUTES.
SERVES : 3 TO 4 PEOPLE.
INGREDIENTS:
CHICKEN BREAST – 3 CUT INTO THIN LONG PIECES.
GINGER GARLIC PASTE – 1/2 TEASPOON EACH.
PAPRIKA – 2 TEASPOONS.
RED CHILI POWDER – 1 TEASPOON.
TURMERIC POWDER – 1/4 TEASPOON.
SALT – TO TASTE.
OIL – 4 TO 5 TABLESPOON.
METHOD:
1.Cut the chicken breasts into thin long pieces.
2. Make a thick paste using paprika ,red chili powder ,turmeric powder ,ginger garlic paste required salt and little water.Marinate the chicken pieces in this paste.Let it rest for 30 minutes.
3.Pour three to 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan and let it heat in a medium flame.
4.When the oil becomes hot (it may take one or two minutes)add in the chicken pieces into the oil.
5.Let the temperature be in medium , turn the chicken pieces now and then so that the chicken pieces are cooked evenly all the sides.
6.Turn off the stove when the chicken pieces are completely fried.
7.Serve it hot .
NOTE: I have used olive oil.You can use any oil of your choice.If you like the taste of ginger garlic you can add 3/4 teaspoon of ginger and garlic each.Cooking time of the chicken may differ according to the temperature of your stove.
