A fruit Smoothie is a drink that blends fruit and fruit juice together to create a healthy snack.This is a thick and creamy smoothie blended with fresh strawberries and banana.With very few ingredients and less time this nutritious and refreshing smoothie is prepared. It’s kind of fast food, the nutritious way.

Packed with vitamins, fiber, and particularly high levels of antioxidants known as polyphenols, strawberries are a sodium-free, fat-free, cholesterol-free, low-calorie food. They are among the top 20 fruits in antioxidant capacity and are a good source of manganese and potassium.

Banana fruits are among the most important food crops in the world.They come from a class of plants called Musa, that are native to Southeast Asia, and are grown in many of the warmer areas of the world.Bananas are a healthy source of fiber, potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and various antioxidants and phytonutrients.

These two yummy fruits full of nutrients blended into yummy smoothie along with honey and milk,will be a perfect drink along with your breakfast.Insted of honey sugar can also be added.Honey makes it littlemore healthy.

Strawberries are kids favourite.Usually kids like strawberries so they will enjoy this drink.And if they didnt like banana it is an easy way to hide it and give.In this drink the taste of strawberries will dominate and children dont even know that banana is added.

BANANA-BERRY SMOOTHIE RECIPIE:

In this recipe I have used honey , you can use sugar insted of honey. You can reduce the  banana into half, if you want the smoothie to be  in little more dark pink colour.

You can add honey or sugar according to your taste.

PREPARATION TIME : 5 MINUTES.

MAKING TIME            :  3 MINUTES.

SERVES                          :  2.

Ingredients:

Strawberries                 – 8 To 10.

Robusta banana           – 1.

Honey                            – 2 Tablespoons.

Milk                                – 2 Cups(250ml cup).

Method:

1.Cut the strawberries and bananas into small pieces.

2.Put them all into a blender.

3.Add milk and honey along with the fruits .

4.Blend it well until all the fruit pieces are finely blended.

5.Pour it in serving cups and serve it fresh.
